SLEEP SUPPORT

Want your child sleeping independently, whilst feeling safe and connected?

Responsive sleep support that puts emotional wellbeing first.

Hi, I’m Catherine,

A certified infant and child sleep consultant with specialist training in autism, sensory and anxiety-informed sleep support.

With over 25 years experience managing early years settings and supporting families, alongside qualifications in Childhood Studies, SEND and Montessori education, I bring a strong understanding of child development and emotional wellbeing into my work.

As a parent of neurodivergent children, I also understand personally how overwhelming sleep and anxiety challenges can feel. This lived experience is a big part of why I’m passionate about supporting families to understand what may be sitting beneath their child’s sleep.

My Approach

I blend evidence-based sleep guidance and Montessori principles with my Root to Rest Method, looking at rhythm, environment, connection and trust.

By considering your child’s development, neurodiversity and emotional wellbeing, we can work towards calmer, more restful sleep in a way that supports the whole family.

What Our Families Say..

  • Samantha, Greater Manchester

Thankyou so much to Catherine at Nurture Owl Sleep Support. My daughter has been quite anxious at bedtime, preventing her from going to sleep and waking in the night. She gave me some great ideas and practical strategies to help my daughter relax when recently feeling anxious at bedtime since starting school.

She was so understanding and reassuring, and it was really helpful having different approaches/strategies to try which gave me more confidence in knowing how best to support my child.

    I would definitely recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Jody, Southampton

I had a good, long chat with Nurture Owls about my son who is only just 4. I felt quite alone at the time, with very few people understanding some of the behaviours I see at home. He is very tired late afternoon but struggles to get to sleep if he has a nap. We talked about lots of different tactics for behaviour and quiet time. Its been hugely helpful! Just having someone to discuss it with initially took a weight off my shoulders. But since I’ve implemented a few things thats had an improvement too! Thankyou 💓

  • Heather, Bolton

I contacted Catherine at The Nurture Owl Support, who I must say was extremely professional and helpful. I have been struggling with bedtimes and night waking for a while. My child is autistic and finds it hard to switch off and settle at night and as soon as he heard the word ‘bedtime’ it became such a stressful time before we even made it up the stairs. The advice and guidance has been amazing and Catherine looked at so many things that we hadnt even thought of! My son is now less stressed at bedtime and sleeps longer most nights! We cant thank Catherine enough for her support.
